 An unusual visitor to Ken Ross's layout, as Martin Dean's "Leader" runs the tracks

Sedgemoor Rail 2008 has seen another successful year with 22 working layouts plus 5 demonstrations and a good selection of trade stands with more than 650 people attending, The Chairmans Shield for best of show was won by Phillip Moates of Aberdare with his layout Gamlyn Viaduct.

Runner up was Brian Bale from Braunton with his layout Goafer Creek.

We were thankful for all members, members wives and friends who helped with the show, and pleased for help given by members of the newly formed Taunton Town Model Railway Club.

We were pleased to be able hand £61.60 to the Burnham Search and Rescue Hovercraft that was collected at the exhibititon.
